Current Job:
Investigator
Pinkerton Consulting and Investigation
Boston, Massachusetts

EXPERIENCES AT LASELL:
I’ve always wanted to be an investigator for the FBI and Lasell got me off to a great start. During my internship with the Watertown Police, I did criminal background checks, became familiar with criminal procedures, went to court, and rode along with police officers. After the tragedy of 9/11, I even assisted the police with the process of inspecting letters for anthrax.

In my current job, I use the investigative interviewing techniques I learned as an intern. I also loved the guest lecturers who told us how things really were on the job. As a result of my Lasell education, I have a solid understanding of the laws and what I can and cannot do as an investigator. I plan to go for my master’s in political science or public administration before I apply to the FBI.
