Admission for International Students

Each year Lasell College welcomes new students from around the world.  International applicants for admission are encouraged to begin the application process early, as there are several agencies involved which can require additional time to complete the admission process.

International applicants should submit the following information to the Office of Admission:

• A completed application for admission.  The application can be submitted online or through the mail.  All applications should be typed or printed and accompanied by a non-refundable application fee of $40.

• An official transcript of your high school or secondary school record, translated into English, if necessary.

• One letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor.

• SAT I or ACT scores are recommended.

• Official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) if English is not your first language.

• A financial declaration of support indicating the applicant’s or family or sponsor’s ability to pay the costs associated with attending college in the United States.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis upon submission of all of the above information.  Candidates who are admitted to the College will be asked to submit a non-refundable deposit of $200 by May 1 to secure a place in class.  An additional $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure on-campus housing.  Upon receipt of this deposit, the I-20 will be issued.  Candidates seeking spring admission are advised to complete this process prior to January 1.
