Lasell College Presidential Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to incoming first time new students based on academic performance in high school. The candidates are chosen during the admission selection process. Recipients must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better and are required to participate in the Honors program. The scholarship is renewable to students who meet these guidelines each year. The amount of the scholarship is $7000 per year.

Lasell College Donahue Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to incoming first time new students who meet certain academic criteria who also demonstrate an active interest in community service, leadership and social responsibility. Students are nominated based on information on their application for admission, and are asked to complete an essay to be considered for the award. Recipients are required to participate in work with the Donahue Institute as well as maintaining a 3.0 GPA or better. It is renewable to students who meet these criteria each year. The amount of the scholarship is $3000 per year.

Lasell College Leadership Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to incoming first time new students who meet certain academic criteria who also demonstrate an active interest in leadership and who are interested in continuing to participate in leadership activities in college. Students are nominated based on information on the application for admission, and are asked to complete an essay to be considered for the award. Recipients are required to work with Student Activities programming and other leadership opportunities and to maintain a 3.0 GPA. It is renewable for students who meet these criteria each year. The amount of the scholarship is $3000 per year.

Lasell College Community Service Scholarship

This scholarship is offered to incoming first time new students who meet certain academic criteria and who demonstrate an active interest in community service. Students are nominated based on information on their application for admission and are asked to complete an essay to be considered for the award. Recipients are required to participate in work with the Center for Community Based Learning, performing 30 hours of community service per semester, and maintaining a 3.0 GPA or better. It is renewable for students who meet these criteria each year. The amount of the scholarship is $3000 per year.

Lasell College Achievement Award

This scholarship is awarded to incoming students based on their academic standing in high school. It is renewable for four years as long as the student maintains satisfactory academic progress as defined by the college in the catalog and handbook.

Lasell College Grant

This grant is awarded to students who apply for financial aid based on a combination of need and merit. It is renewable each year for the same amount as long as the student reapplies for financial aid by the deadlines and as long as the financial circumstances of the family do not change significantly.  It may be received on a full time and part time basis. To receive consideration for this grant students must apply for financial aid by completing the Lasell College Financial Aid Application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year.

Lasell College Alumni Scholarship

This award is available to returning upperclass students who apply for the scholarship through the Office of Institutional Advancement and who are selected by the committee to receive the scholarship.

Lasell College Donor Sponsored Scholarships

These awards are given to returning upperclass students who have financial need for assistance, who meet certain criteria for the various scholarships as determined by the Office of Institutional Advancement.  This funding generally replaces in full or in part Lasell College Grant funding that the student may already be receiving.
