The Office of Student Financial Planning is fully prepared to assist you in any way possible. You and your family are invited to meet individually with a member of the financial planning office to discuss, identify, and secure financial resources for your education.  We look forward to hearing from you and helping to make your college financial planning process a satisfying and rewarding one.

Our Commitment

Lasell College has worked to stem the rising cost of a college education, by slowing the rate of increase to well below national averages.  A college education is a lifetime investment and we are committed to making a college education affordable.  We strive to find the optimum combination of scholarships, grants, loans, work-study and payment options to make attending Lasell possible.  Students must reapply every year for financial aid. If students reapply on time, and there is no significant change in financial need for assistance, we commit to maintaining the same level of Lasell College funding in your financial aid package during all four years of attendance.

Your Responsibility

Just as you would research and plan for the purchase of a car or home, it is imperative that you develop a sound family financial plan for your college education.  You and your family will be expected to contribute a reasonable share of your educational expenses.  Lasell College and the federal and state governments will assist as necessary.  A sound financial plan will enable you to manage your costs and set priorities that fit your specific family circumstances.

Your plan should include a review of the following three areas:

• Student expenses
• Financial aid awards
• Financing options - that draw on current and future earnings and savings.

Please visit our new Financial Aid Online Website to review your financial file, see your award if you have been awarded for the coming year, and get more information regarding the aid process.  You will need your social security number and a financial aid PIN to enter the site.
