Biography:
Professor Farah brings to Lasell College an extensive list of credentials. She earned a B.S. at Virginia Polytechnical Institute & State University in Materials Engineering and an M.S.E. at the University of Massachusetts: Lowell in
Civil/Environmental Engineering and finally, a Ph.D. from University of Massachusetts:Lowell
Chemistry- Environmental.
At Lasell, Professor Farah has been teaching general chemistry, biochemistry, and introductory physics courses. She is also directly responsible for preparation and supervision of both general chemistry and physics laboratories. Professor Farah is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Merrimack College, Andover, MA. and a Faculty Consultant at Kennedy Western University, Thousand Oaks,CA.
Professor Farah has authored and co-authored many articles, including "Selective Removal of Silver in the Presence of Copper, Manganese, and Zinc in Solution by an Algal Biomass", that have been published in science journals.
When asked about teaching at Lasell, Farah offers that, "Small classes give an opportunity to work with students on a one on one basis and allow for individualized help. " This concept aids in the connected learning experience for exercise physiology students at Lasell.
