Biography:
Over the course of her career, Sara Large has taught a wide variety of writing courses, including first-year composition, technical writing, professional writing, and creative writing and has had the opportunity to teach at different institutions across the United States. She also spent one year in Mongolia, where she worked for an NGO teaching English and test preparation. She has served as Assistant Director of the Rhetoric and Writing Studies program at the University of Texas at El Paso, assisted in the development of an online graduate certificate program in technical and professional writing, and worked as a writing consultant for the nursing program at Georgia State University. She has presented research at a number of national and regional conferences, and research interests include translingual writing, writing and identity, and writing across the curriculum.  

What is important for your students to take away from your classes?
I would like my students to develop a stronger confidence in their writing abilities as they cultivate rhetorical and writing skills that they can use and build on in their other coursework at Lasell and in their professional and personal lives.
