Academic Programs

The Cybersecurity concentration at Lasell has a professional focus, rooted in Connected Learning, that prepares students to help safeguard organizations on the Internet.  One of the biggest challenges that organizations face is securing their sites and apps, and safeguarding personal information. Breaches like the ones at Target, Home Depot, and Equifax in the recent times have only re-confirmed this challenge.

  • The program balances project-based Core Technology and Cybersecurity courses to allow students to understand areas such as national security policy, cyber investigation, and vulnerability testing.
  • All courses are designed to hone foundational skills in technology, critical thinking, analysis, ethics, and oral and written communications
  • The Cybersecurity concentration allows students to earn CompTIA certifications: CompTIA IT Fundamentals, CompTIA A+, CSA+, and CompTIA Network+
  • Lasell's distinguished faculty supports the success of students, by linking academic expertise with professional experiences.
  • The Information Technology Major has concentrations in Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Media and Mobile Development.
