Global Ambassadors

What is a Global Ambassador?

A Global Ambassador is a peer advisor for the Office of International Services. Our Ambassadors serve as a resource for students interested in studying abroad by sharing their personal experiences while they were abroad. Global Ambassadors are able to provide advice on life in the particular location, understanding of foreign cultures, and academic differences between Lasell and other institutions. Global Ambassadors also support students if they are experiencing culture shock, whether that is in their first few weeks while abroad or once when they return to the United States. These student leaders also speak at various events across campus.

Who are the Ambassadors?

Meet the Global Ambassadors and read their profiles. We encourage you to reach out to them to ask questions whether you are just starting the process or you are already abroad.

How to apply

All students who have returned from a summer, semester or year-long study abroad experience are eligible to apply. Returning study abroad students will be invited to complete an online application form prior to their return to campus either over summer or winter break. Students will then be asked to participate in an interview with the Office of International Services. For more information, please email studyabroad@lasell.edu.

The application for the Spring 2018 semester will open in December!
