Nicaragua

Nicaragua Shoulder to Shoulder is an international service-learning experience that incorporates volunteer work for literacy, public health, and social justice. A spring trip to San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua provides opportunities for students to work side by side with community members, gain understanding through cultural exchange, and participate in reflection and academic exercises examining poverty and development. Student participants also design a related academic component in conjunction with one of their spring courses.
