Master in Sport Management

Athletics are an integral part of most people's lives through non-profit organizations such as the YMCA, boys and girls clubs, local sports leagues, and sports-related charities. The Sport Non-Profit Management concentration addresses both the unique and combined challenges of sport and non-profit management to equip you with knowledge of athletic regulations (particularly safety requirements for youth), and skills in leadership, fundraising and development, and community outreach.

The 36 credits of coursework includes:

  • 24 credits of the core MS in Sport Management curriculum
  • 9 credits of Sport Hospitality concentration courses
  • 3-credit capstone option of either a thesis or an internship

Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking admission to Lasell College's Sport Management graduate degree or Certificate programs must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. GRE/GMAT scores are not required.  The TOEFL may be waived for students whose native language is English or students who have successfully completed a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. All other applicants must submit a TOEFL/IELTS score.

Lasell's Sport Management graduate degree program offers three concentrations: Sport LeadershipSport Hospitality Management, and Sport Non-Profit ManagementAdmission Requirements Checklist:
