Sarahbeth Golden's psychological research focuses on the relationships among attachment, emotion regulation, and interpersonal competence in romantic relationships. She is also interested in the role of the family environment in a person's development.
Sarahbeth Golden completed a series of clinical internships at the VA Hospital in Bedford, MA, and in counseling centers at Northeastern University and Illinois State University. Most recently, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Two Brattle Center in Cambridge, MA. She was trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy while at Two Brattle Center. Sarahbeth Golden enjoys being able to integrate her experience with clinical work into her class lectures.
