Becky Kennedy's scholarly, clinical, and creative interests lie in various language subfields: formal linguistics, psycholinguistics, applied linguistics, and literature. Her scholarly work in these areas has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Pragmatics, Brain and Language, and Annals of Dyslexia; she has also published many poems in journals such as the Massachusetts Review, Meridian, Salmagundi, and Poem. In addition, she does clinical work and consultation in language assessment. She tries to instruct her students with clarity and sensitivity in the subjects she loves.
