Ellen LaBelle extensive business experience includes owning and operating ventures in early childhood education, travel, and artwork: LaBelle Day School, Inc., Brockton, MA, LaBelle Travel, Brockton, MA and Halifax, MA, and LaBelle Gallery, Brockton, MA. Prior to coming to Lasell, she taught Hospitality and Tourism courses at Bay State College and Stonehill College in Easton, MA.
Ellen Labelle writes: "My philosophy is to prepare students for management positions and leadership roles in the Hospitality and Event Management industry. To accomplish this, students need a strong foundation of hospitality courses, a good base in business/professional courses, and liberal arts courses to make them a well-rounded Lasell graduate. In addition to this academic foundation, students are reinforced in their learning process though the connected learning experience offered in our department's classes, practicums and internships."
