Internship Opportunities
The Sport Management Department offers courses and majors in the areas of sports and physical activity, as well as a minor in Coaching, in conjunction with the Athletic Training and Exercise Science Department. Sport Management is involved with the management and organization of the whole sporting experience, and students are offered a variety of internship and Connected Learning opportunities while attending Lasell. Below are some of the opportunities Lasell Sport Management students have experienced.
Performance Research (Sports Sponsorship Research)

Providence Bruins (Pro Hockey – AHL) Students worked with the ticketing operations department, entered information into computer databases, and worked at games. New England Riptide (Women’s Pro Fast-Pitch Softball) Students worked on daily operations, including game days, and involved in all aspects of the organizational operations. Massachusetts Special Olympics Students were involved with research, preparation for major sporting events (cycling, winter games, etc.) and public relations. Northeastern University Athletic Department Students participated in the Marketing and Promotions, game day operations and events, and sports information. Mass Premier Soccer Students worked at soccer camps, with databases, and helped with scheduling for sport facility. Ocean City (MD.) Recreation and Parks Department Students worked in program development and operations, as well as marketing and promotions.
