Biography:
Professor Donovan's research interests include mathematics education, statistical literacy, and mathematical problem solving. Present research project examines specific problem solving strategies and conceptual understanding in introductory statistics courses. Most of Professor Donovan's teaching career has been at Emmanuel College in Boston, where she worked to implement courses such as College Geometry, a Seminar in the history of mathematics, and a 3 course sequence in mathematics for future elementary teachers.

What do you like about teaching at Lasell?

State Board of Higher Education Approves New Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice  Wednesday, December 17, 2014The Massachusetts Board of Higher Education has approved a new Master’s degree in Criminal Justice at Lasell that will offer students multiple concentrations in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Violence Prevention and Advocacy as well as a flexible Criminal Justice option. The online program launches in Fall 2015.
