Biography:
Michelle Niestepski is an Assistant Professor of English at Lasell College. Professor Niestepski completed her post doctorate work at Northeastern Unviersy and is a co-author of the Instructor's Resource Manual to accompany The Longman Handbook for Writers and Readers, 6th ed. (Longman, 2010). She has given several professional presentations including "Learning Through Service Learning" at the National Council of Teachers of English in November '10, as well as "Rethinking Student Attitudes Towards Grammar" at the Annual Conference on College Composition and Communication in March '10.

What is important for your students to take away from your classes?
"I want students to come away from my writing classes understanding the importance of writing and feeling confident in their ability to handle the various writing situations they will find themselves in, both in other classes and in the workplace."

Lasell College Wins NEA Grant to Create Online Fashion Design Catalog  Thursday, May 2, 2013Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander announced today that the College is the recipient of a $20,000 2013 National Endowment for the Arts matching grant to assist in the creation of an online fashion design catalog. The Lasell grant proposal was one of 50 grants funded by the NEA in its Art Works Design category.
