WGBH Event

Presentation & Exhibit WGBH, February 23, 2012
In celebration of the success of Downton Abbey Lasell College's Fashion Department was asked to create a brief history of dress between 1900-1920 in Power Point form as well as an exhibit of fashion from the Downton Abby time period. As a result an installation was created which profiled three female characters Violet, Cora & Mary and included both dress and accessories from the early part of the 20th century. This was a collaboration between Arnow Professor Jill Carey and Fashion Department Chair Lynn Blake and research student assistant Bryana Prout, 2012. All items features in this exhibition were from the Lasell Fashion Collection. Jill Carey gave the oral presentation to approximately 500 people.
