Exhibits & Collections

The Lasell Fashion Collection (LFC) has solid representation between the later part of the 19th and the early part of the 20th centuries. Included in this assortment are bodices, ensembles, outerwear, wedding attire, and accessories.

The highlights of the LFC include fifty high fashion handmade gowns from Yolanda Cellucci the previous owner of (Yolanda's) a Waltham, MA retail establishment for fine clothing and bridal attire. Forty-five Arnold Scaasi designs dating between the 1960's through the 1980's, and fifty pieces of CC41 British dress from World War II which includes female garments and accessories donated to Lasell College from The Museum of Fine Arts- Boston, Ma.

Most recently items from the LFC have been featured at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, MA "The Art Italian Style and design" 2008, "The American Automobile" 2009, "Curve Appeal" 2010, "Dream, Expression, Obsession" 2011.

The Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation in Waltham, MA, "Frontline Fashion", 2011. An exhibition which highlighted the associations between military attire and fashion from the Vietnam era through present day.

The American Textile History Museum in Lowell, MA, 2010 "Grace and Glamour: 1930's Fashion" The ATHM borrowed items from the LFC for this exhibition.
