The fashion industry is fast-paced, exciting and essential to the worldwide economy. The Fashion Communication and Promotion, Fashion Retail & Merchandising, and Fashion Design & Production majors at Lasell have a unique opportunity to combine a Liberal Arts education with fashion industry knowledge to succeed in a variety of professional areas. Graduates of Lasell’s fashion design programs develop successful careers.
Through application of Lasell’s Connected Learning philosophy, Lasell’s fashion degrees offer students hands-on opportunities; fashion students are directly involved in fashion show productions as designers, producers, set designers, or stylists, both on and off campus. Our graduates pursue careers as fashion designers, technical designers, buyers, inventory planners, merchandisers, costume designers, visual merchandisers, and store managers for a variety of product categories.
Lasell's Fashion Department is a member of the NRFSA- National Retail Federation's Student Association. The NRFSA membership offers students networking opportunities, recognition, and the latest industry news.
