Internship Opportunities

Graphic design majors can seek internships in a wide array of organizations from design firms, non-profit organizations, advertising agencies, and galleries to corporate in-house design departments. Graphic design students develop skills in both print and web design and can apply those skills to publication, web site, advertising/marketing and logo design.

"I landed an internship at TJX in the Creative Services Department and it’s going really well so far; I go in three days a week and they are all super helpful. I’m learning a lot, building my portfolio, honing my professional skills, and making a contribution to a well-known brand."
– Maria DelRose, Graphic Design Major

Organizations are often very excited to hire interns with a range of skills that combine an understanding of communications or public relations with the added understanding of and skills in graphic design. It is this hybrid skill set and view of the world which makes a Lasell student attractive as an intern.

Graphic Design LeagueLasell's Graphic Design League, a student-run organization for the Art & Graphic Design department, was formed in the fall term of 2005 to encourage a spirit of unity, collaboration and professionalism in Lasell College's graphic arts community. It is our intention to promote Connected Learning experiences for students with the larger communities of Boston and beyond.
