Biography:
Professor Tran had taught at Fisher College before joining Lasell in 2008. His research interests are in economic development and international trade policy. He has published papers on Vietnam's economic development, written various newspaper articles for publications in Vietnam and Asia, and been interviewed by international media.

What is important for your students to take away from your classes?
"A passion for economic issues and a passion for learning in general. Learning is a process of transforming. I would like for my students to come out of this process with more knowledge and desirable professional characteristics that prepare them for any working environment."

Lasell College Wins NEA Grant to Create Online Fashion Design Catalog  Thursday, May 2, 2013Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander announced today that the College is the recipient of a $20,000 2013 National Endowment for the Arts matching grant to assist in the creation of an online fashion design catalog. The Lasell grant proposal was one of 50 grants funded by the NEA in its Art Works Design category.
