Kellee Miller, Education Director

I am a 2002 graduate of Lasell College with a B.A. in Day Care Administration. Before becoming the Education Director of The Barn, I was the lead teacher of the Toddler Two classroom. In this position, I helped to foster the growth and development of the many children who were in my care from 2002-2007. In July 2007, I accepted the role as the Education Director of the Holway Child Study Center-The Barn.

As Education Director, I guide the teachers of the center to implement creative curriculum based on Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences. I take pleasure in learning and recalling life’s experiences through the eyes of the children. At The Barn, we take pride in enriching the college students with our teaching knowledge and past experiences.

Personal Statement: “I believe that young children learn not only through academic challenges, but through play and social interactions with peers and teachers. It is also my belief that children need to be nurtured by caring educators, who can instill the appropriate skills and experiences for young children in their social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth”.

Monique Leone, Administrative Assistant

I began working at the Barn in January of 2005 as the Administrative Assistant. My previous work experiences have been with working in finance for one of the major local banks and have a strong computer background. Working here at the Barn allows me the daily pleasures of being with children, working with a team of wonderful teachers and the opportunity to learn and grow professionally in a colligate environment. My greatest joy is visiting your children everyday and seeing life through their eyes!
