MUSIC AND SOCCER PROGRAM
Our extended day music and soccer programs began last week. We were happy to have a beautiful afternoon for soccer. Hopefully, it will continue to be nice and get a little warmer. We ask that you please send a water bottle with your child’s name on it to take to the field with them. If your child has a water bottle for lunch, we are also happy to refill them for soccer. Thanks!
If you have children in the 4-year-old class or Transition Kindergarten, you have received or will soon be receiving your child’s end-of-the-year evaluation. The three-year-old evaluations will be given out in early May. If you would like to meet with your child’s teachers please plan a date and time with them. Thanks!
DROP-OFF STAY DAYS
We would like to remind you that if your child is doing a drop-in stay-day to please let us know verbally or by writing the information on the daily “changes” sheet in your child’s classroom. It is also important to indicate the pick-up time so that we can plan the afternoon accordingly. Please pay for these stay-days at the end of each week.
ANOTHER PAJAMA PARTY
Our winter Pajama Party was such a success that we will be having another on Friday, May 1st from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Children can be dropped off at school in their pajamas, and they may bring a stuffed toy to cuddle with during “bedtime stories”. Children will be making their own English Muffin Pizzas for dinner along with carrots and apples, and milk and dessert. Because it will be May 1st, we will be celebrating May Day by making May baskets and dancing around the May pole. Bedtime stories will end the evening. Cost for this event is $25, and the money raised will benefit the Rockwell professional development fund, which helps to send teachers to the national conference each year. Please look for sign-up sheets toward the middle of April.
