SUMMER PROGRAM
Summer Program information and applications will be available early this month. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Lucey in the three-year-old class. Deposits will be due on Friday, March 22nd.
THURSDAY STAY- DAYS
At the beginning of January we offered a new 2:00 and 3:00 extended day on Thursdays. Because there was no interest, we have gone back the original 1:00 lunch bunch.
VALENTINE'S DAY
Children may bring in valentines to share with their classmates at the Valentine's Day party. We ask that the children in the three and four-year-old classrooms bring their valentines WITHOUT names on the envelopes for easier distribution. There are sign-up sheets in both of these classrooms if you would like to contribute a goody for the party. The transition class teachers are encouraging the children to print their friends' names on their valentines. The TK children will be going to Lasell Village to sing and share valentines and then head to the cafeteria for a Valentine's Day lunch.
OPENINGS FOR THE 2013-14 SCHOOL YEAR
Rockwell still has a few openings in our 3-year-old class and Transition Kindergarten for next fall. If you would be willing to post a flyer at your gym, workplace, salon, doctor's office, etc., please let me know and will gratefully give you one. Thanks!
WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY
If the winter continues to be kind, this won't be an issue. However, please listen to WBZ 1030AM or WRKO 680AM on your radio or TV channels 4, 5, or 7 for weather related closings. We are closed if Lasell College is closed. I will also change the message on the office phone (617-243-2355) to indicate whether or not we are closed. College closings are also posted on the Lasell website at www.lasell.edu. If the college delays until 9:00 we will also delay opening until 9:00, however if the college delays opening for two hours or 10:00, we will not open on that day.
