Why did you join the CCBL? - I first got involved in the CCBL when I started working for America Counts. After becoming familiar with the center I began getting involved with many of the other projects they run.
What is the most memorable thing you've done with the CCBL - Working for America Counts is probably the most memorable experience I've had. I was able to work with and tutor and mentor multiple children in the Boston area and have a big impact through this program.
Favorite thing about Lasell - My favorite thing about Lasell is the one-on-one attention you can receive from teachers. The small class size makes it very easy to really get to know your professors and work with them to get the kind of experience out of Lasell that you are looking for.
Favorite thing about the CCBL - It's a really great place to get involved with if you are interested in helping out in the community. The staff are always there to help get you involved and work with you on different projects of your interest.

Involvement: Community Service House Leader, ACES Facilitator, America Counts Coordinator, Second Step Mentor
Why did you join the CCBL? - I got involved my freshman year with the CCBL through the America Reads and Counts programs because I was interested in finding a work study job that was beneficial to the community. One thing led to another and the next year I started living in the Community Service House and getting more and more involved.
What is the most memorable thing you've done with the CCBL - It's hard to say, the Sleepout for Homelessness was really intense and educational on a personal level both times I participated, and the work I've done with America Counts and ACES has been phenomenal as well. Come to think of it, everything I've done with the CCBL has been memorable in its own way.
Favorite thing about Lasell - Lasell is a small school which in some ways has drawbacks and benefits, the biggest benefit I see every day is that you can have a really big impact and stand out on campus easily, and the people are very friendly and recognize you when they greet you.
Favorite thing about the CCBL - The people that work at the CCBL are the best. They are the most helpful, supportive, caring and interesting people at the Lasell campus and are always willing to go far out of their way to help the students who work with them.
