Second Step Mentoring

The Second Step is a community nonprofit that provides transitional housing and support services to women and their children who are survivors of domestic violence.

Lasell College is proud to support the Second Step IMAGINE Program. For this program, Lasell students are recruited and trained as a team of mentors to provide engaging activities for children while role-modeling appropriate social behaviors. A year-long commitment is expected from mentors.

Second Step Mentoring meets Wednesday evenings approximately twice per month on-campus (2015-16 Schedule). Dinner and dessert is provided.

How to get involved: Submit the Student Engagement and Employment in Communities Application by Sep. 18, 2015 by email to CCBL@lasell.edu or in person at the
CCBL in Klingbeil House (located at 142 Woodland Rd.).
