Tutoring - Faculty and student tutors offer a weekly schedule for walk-in help, or appointments may be made. Peer writing tutors have completed training which has been awarded
International Tutor Program Certification. Most subjects are covered, as well as ELL and presentation skills.
Speaking Across the Curriculum - The AAC works closely with the Speaking Across the Curriculum initiative to offer students assistance with a Presentation Coach. Videotaping and critiquing help students improve this life-long skill.
Graduate Students - The faculty tutors are available on campus to assist graduate students. If online tutor assistance is necessary, students can contacts us for arrangements.
Workshops and Study Groups - The AAC offers comfortable space for study groups and can help coordinate them. Workshops address practical strategies for developing time management skills, improved note taking, critical reading and thinking skills, and writing research papers.
Online Resources - The AAC maintains resources on the student intranet that provide tips on Writing, Time Management, Test Preparation, Research Papers, and more.
