Biography:
Ro Frolick has been the Director of the Academic Achievement Center for 22 years. She recently received notification that the Seminar for Writing Tutors course has been awarded International Tutor Program Certification through the College Reading and Learning Association. She is currently an active member of a Disabilities Consortium in the Boston area, and an affiliate of a local organization discussing current issues involving Learning Centers.

Prior to teaching at Lasell College, Ro taught at Middlesex Community College and the Lincoln and Arlington Public Schools. She also worked in the Malden Public Schools as a Physical Education teacher.

What do you like about teaching at Lasell?
“Teaching in the Academic Achievement Center has given me the unique opportunity to work with many students on a one to one basis. I really get to understand individual learning styles and more confidently assist students in becoming lifelong learners.”

Lasell College Wins NEA Grant to Create Online Fashion Design Catalog  Thursday, May 2, 2013Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander announced today that the College is the recipient of a $20,000 2013 National Endowment for the Arts matching grant to assist in the creation of an online fashion design catalog. The Lasell grant proposal was one of 50 grants funded by the NEA in its Art Works Design category.
