Learning Disabilities

 

 

Lasell College recognizes the individuality of each student's learning profile. The AAC offers accommodations for students with documented learning disabilities, including the following.

· Note takers

· Books on CD and Kindle (with text-to-speech)

· Extended time for tests

· Alternative testing formats and locations

· Tape recorders

· Kurzweil assistive technology

· Dragon Systems speech recognition software

· AlphaSmart Keyboard

Please note: Students must submit current (within 3 years) appropriate documentation, including a diagnosis by a qualified professional and recommendations for specific modifications.

Lasell College Wins NEA Grant to Create Online Fashion Design Catalog  Thursday, May 2, 2013Lasell College President Michael B. Alexander announced today that the College is the recipient of a $20,000 2013 National Endowment for the Arts matching grant to assist in the creation of an online fashion design catalog. The Lasell grant proposal was one of 50 grants funded by the NEA in its Art Works Design category.
