Alyssa ShadanFashion and Retail Merchandising, Class of 2011

Hometown: Groton, MA
Major: Fashion and Retail Merchandising
Minor: Event Management
Class of 2011
Activities on Campus:
Lasell Leadership Scholar, Lasell Cheerleading (07-08 season), Vice President of Fashion Merchandising Club and, of course, a Lasell College Blue Key Society member!

"The fashion program, small class sizes, campus size and location of Lasell are really what influenced my decision to come here. I am looking to do an internship relating to the fashion industry during my Senior year, mainly focusing on either buying or styling for a company. I am also very involved with planning the Spring 2010 Fashion Show!"

"My favorite class I have taken at Lasell would either have to be my Honors Writing course that I took freshman year, or the Fashion History course that I took sophomore year. They were both so much fun because I love to write and it was amazing to learn and see how fashion has evolved over the years from Ancient Egypt to present day."

"I love to go shopping off campus whether its in Newton Center, Wellesley Center, The Natick Collection or Newbury Street in Boston! Boston is only a T ride away and it's so convenient and easy to get there. I also love to go to the Boston Aquarium!"
