Communication Internships

Below are some of the many internships that Lasell students have held while enrolled as a Communication major. This entails industries such as radio, journals, newspaper, publishers, television, marketing, PR & advertising agencies.

In Their Own Words:

Jessica Buono"I'm interning at NewTV in Newton. I am responsible for going out to events to get interviews, then editing and coming up with a news story from all the information I gathered. Editing consists of me cutting the film and recording a voice over. My stories, if edited by the deadline, make it on to the Newton News broadcast." - Jessica Buono, Communication Major

"At WEEI Sports Radio, I am responsible for upkeep of the website and I also contact contest winners, which can be really fun to make someone's day by telling them that they won Celtics tickets. I also write scripts for on-air personalities and prepare the street team for game night promotions. At CBS Boston, I log games and help choose game highlights for the 11pm news. I also write scripts for on-air anchors."
Tayla Polia, Communication Major
