M.S. in Sports Management, Saint Thomas University
Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership concentrating in Not-for-Profit Leadership, Nova Southeastern University

Areas of Specialization: Athletic Administration, Sports Media Relations, Sports Marketing and Athletic Facilities Management

Bob Prior’s primary scholarly interests are in the areas of Sport Management and Athletic Administration. He has also done extensive research in Organizational and Not-for-Profit Leadership.

Previous to his position at Lasell College, Bob Prior worked in the professional and collegiate sports sector for fifteen years. He has served as Associate Director of Athletics Communications and External Operations at Nova Southeastern University, Director of Information and New Media for Major League Soccer, Director of Media Relations for the Boston Celtics and as Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator for the Atlanta Braves.

About teaching Bob Prior writes: "Connected learning provides students with a unique understanding of what to expect when they enter the work force. I enjoy bringing real-world situations and scenarios into the classroom and helping students learn through my past experiences in the sports industry. It is my obligation to take a personal interest in each of my students and to assist them in reaching their career goals.”
