Student Opportunities

The Humanities major provides students with a broad-based program that explores the role of human imagination, intellect and expression in human history, cultural development, and social and personal relations. Major requirements therefore span the areas of Art History, Communication, English, History, Music, Philosophy, and Languages. Below are some examples of internship opportunities Humanities students have held.

In Their Own Words:

Lasell College Humanities InternshipsAt my internship in State Senator Montigny's office, I am responsible for responding to constituent requests via email or phone by either directly addressing their issues or referring them to someone who can. I use data from email to create spreadsheets displaying popular constituent requests and contact information. I also read and summarize the new House and Senate Bills for 2011, and do research on special projects.
