Student Opportunities
All Fashion students have hands-on experiences during their time at Lasell's fashion design programs, including direct involvement in on- and off-campus fashion show productions, contact with industry professionals who provide consultations on academic projects, and international opportunities. Senior year capstone fashion courses include internships, many of which have turned into full-time jobs.

Lasell Fashion students have the opportunity to interact with other students and professionals internationally, either through video conferences with colleges in other countries or through the department's summer study abroad programs (view the Moments in Paris slideshow at bottom of page to learn more about a recent trip).

Lasell fashion students learned the complexities of expanding into a global marketplace when they collaborated with a class from the Shandong University of Art and Design (SUAD) in China during the Spring 2010 semester. With the help of translators, students discussed their research and development of fashion lines for each other’s markets via video chats on Skype. |
