Degrees: J.D. Boston College Law School, 1992; B.A. Economics and French, Union College, 1987

Biography:
Professor Toffler has been an attorney in private and public practice (representing private clients and municipalities). He most recently was the Director of the Natural Cities Program at the Urban Ecology Institute, a nonprofit organization formerly located at Boston College, where he represented community groups in urban environmental issues including land use, open space and development issues. He has been an adjunct faculty member at Boston College and Boston College Law School, and has been teaching at Lasell since 2008. He has an article in the Virginia Environmental Law Journal (21:318-385) on urban ecology and the restoration of urban ecosystems.

What do you like about teaching at Lasell College?
