Biography:
John Carroll's professional background includes teaching and supervision in Special Needs, Reading, Curriculum, History/Social Studies, and English. He has designed and implemented seminar programs in leadership, curriculum assessment, MTEL preparation, and assistive technology.

Dr. Carroll is the author of “Learning to Adapt: Models for Inclusion” (published in A Closer Look) and co-author of “A Comprehensive Model of an Exemplary Post-Secondary Learning Disabilities Program” (ERIC Document). Professor Carroll has presented at several conferences and professional workshops, including a research presentation with student leaders on Teaching and Learning Styles at the Learning Disabilities Worldwide Conference. He is an advocate and consultant in ADA and accessibility issues and has served as a disabilities services coordinator and a learning specialist for educational agencies. Dr. Carroll's scholarship and professional contributions have been recognized in Who's Who in American Education and Phi-Alpha-Theta, International Honor Society in History.
