About the Brennan Library

In many ways the heart of the Lasell campus is the Jessie S. Brennan Library, a state-of-the-art library that contains more than 61,822 volumes and over 80 electronic databases that include 31,140 full-text journals.

As a member of the Minuteman Library Network, a consortium of 42 local libraries, the Brennan Library provides easy access to over six million items, including books, DVDs, magazines, music, e-books, downloadable audiobooks, and more, all searchable through the online catalog. Borrowers may use any library in the network with a single card. For Lasell students and faculty, the Lasell "torch card" serves as a library card for the Brennan Library and the rest of the Minuteman network, and the card number allows off-campus access to many online resources.
